    3.0.11 (Jun 13, 2009)

wow. I think it did close for no apparent reason once last night, but although it's early days it looks like in 3.0.0.11 the memory I like I've had for so long I can't remember when it started is finally gone, or at least much improved.

    2009.build.35 (Feb 23, 2009)

It's now preventing my auto-hidden taskbar appearing again, which the last version didn't.

  6. Comment - Adobe releases AIR 2 and Flash Player 10.1 betas

    2.0.156.1 Beta (Nov 17, 2009 - 9:26 PM)

Ooh, thanks for the link - my kit is all a good few years old but it certainly looks worth a go - looks like this could be a real performance improvement for a wide range of applications on a wide range of systems, kudos to Adobe if so!

  7. Comment - Adobe releases AIR 2 and Flash Player 10.1 betas

    2.0.156.1 Beta (Nov 17, 2009 - 4:16 PM)

What I want to know is, is the new Flash Player any less of a resource hog on desktops, or should I stick with using Flowplayer on YouTube (hurrah for Greasemonkey!) ?

  8. Comment - Antisocial media: Lack of safeguards is killing the experience

    2.0.156.1 Beta (Nov 2, 2009 - 1:18 PM)

Same here, stupid games etc, which I hide, but never seen any phishing/scam type stuff from any of my facebook friends.

I have never drunk the Apple kool-aid, but really, 5 days? Boo hoo! Get a grip! Is Leopard so terrible you can't put up with it for another year or another month?
