  1. Review - Skype for Windows

    2.5.0.126 (Jul 18, 2006)

Skype is good for a reason. They cater to Windows Mostly which is my Unfortunate Stance in the Computing world but it gives me a certain advantage, Free SkypeOut for this year. I still need a SkypeIn number but I eventually plan to replace the Landline in my House. Skype may be my best Alternative. Not a bad IM client either with a damn good community. I just don't like it when random people add me in there. I'm never on SkypeMe so they probably look me up. -_- However I may look for something a little more Privacy Friendly if it persists.

  2. Review - Windows Live Messenger

    8.0.0792 (Jul 18, 2006)

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! AN EXCUSE TO DROP YIM FOREVER!!!!

OK there is a Small problem though. Instead of it being in Final Form where all my YIM Contacts can be forced to contact me in Windows Live Messenger, They are instead at liberty to bypass and not bother with the Beta at all. Which means I have to wait for the Official release. Oh what the hell a 5 for Saving me from the Dreaded YIM, even if it is a bit away. :P

  3. Review - Skype Email Toolbar for Thunderbird

    1.0.0.38 Beta (Jul 18, 2006)

I have exactly one Complaint here. I can't directly call any phone numbers in Thunderbird I have listed. I have to open up the contact card first. Otherwise it's a Pretty damn good utility for Skype and Thunderbird Users. Get's the most out of Both. :D

  4. Review - Gmail Notifier for Windows

    1.0.25.0 (Jul 18, 2006)

You know something. What can I say. I know I have an Email the second it arrives. It's fast, efficient, and I always know when I have an email. No more logging in to Gmail mulitple times a day (This was before I used Thunderbird) and I can access the Email with a simple click.

  5. Review - Mozilla Thunderbird for Windows

    1.5.0.4 (Jul 18, 2006)

As much As I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO GIVE THIS A 5!!

There are some Stability Problems that WLMDBeta didn't help with (It added more after I downloaded that) but anyways it's pretty damn Good. I was able to Connect my GMail and AIM Mail accounts to POP3 and IMAP Respectively. The RSS Reader isn't bad but I have abandoned that for GreatNews 1.0 Beta.

And because this is Based on the Gecko Rendering engine there are plenty of Extensions to keep the Extension happy busy. (like me)

As much as I like Google I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one.

    about:blank ;)

OK Google is the most easy to use ACTUAL SITE. :P

  8. Comment - New Yahoo Homepage Goes Live

    1.5.0.4 (Jul 18, 2006 - 2:56 PM)

yep, MSN is cluttered but being replaced by live.com

Yahoo is still cluttered after leaving a cluttered interface behind.

Google is personalized just for me now. :D Personalized Google Homepage.

  9. Comment - New Yahoo Homepage Goes Live

    1.5.0.4 (Jul 18, 2006 - 2:54 PM)

Let me put it like this. Yahoo moved some stuff around and threw in AJAX and DHTML. IT'S STILL TOO CLUTTERED!!!!!

Not only that but they are advertising Services that aren't even worth using. Really it makes no difference what they do to the site, until they fix that clutter I refuse to use their Engine. Or their Email (Spam in the Inbox and non spam in the Bulk, how do you explain that one? I mean Addresses in my Address Book going to my Bulk Folder) Then throw in the Completely Messy and useless Messenger they have and it's even worse. More of a reason to use Windows Live Messenger now. :D
