  3. Review - doPDF

    5.3.249 (Jan 22, 2008)

the install is small and simple, it is free and it works good enough for me for not heaving a reason to not give it a 5

  4. Review - Ad-Aware

    7.0.2.1 (Aug 29, 2007)

every time i see an update for this i cross my fingers they would remove the service running i the background all the time. with no real time protection there is no need for it.

  5. Review - 7-Zip (32-bit)

    4.51 Beta (Jul 25, 2007)

i like the simple gui of 7-zip, but some things seem almost a bit unfinished. there are small things, for example the shell context menu seems to be static and does not try to be more smart/dynamic like by some other archivers. 7-zip could IMO make huge steps closer to archivers like winrar if such small things would be fixed/improved.

  9. Comment - Microsoft makes second acquisition related to fighting rootkits

    4.51 Beta (Mar 21, 2008 - 9:11 AM)

Was there ever something "official" from Microsoft that would confirm they have acquired RKU an its team? All I can find are comments around blogs, so we can have some doubts about this.
