Reinstall of lastest Beta seems to have fixed the sound problem. It is now working fine. I deleted the directory, did a clean of the registry, reinstalled and re-registered the pgm and all seems fine.

emanresU deriseD,
Please inform us of the journey this poor inapt application has to make to soar with it's shareware counterparts. I have used most of the "sareware" clients and this one still reigns king. It is simple, easy to set up and use and does an excellent job not to mention that it is free. Paying for a program does not make it exceptional...only profitable. What was it CW Fields said " There is one born every minute". Awked Ark!

There is a simple answer for all this Riaa stuff. Without consumers, the RIAA has no product. So as consumers I suggest that any company/artist/record or what ever that is represented by the RIAA is Totally boycotted forever. Dont buy their products, music or what ever and it will soon stop.

Some of you may remember Arpanet, the true parent of the Internet as known today. Back in the 70's I worked on packet switching technology along with sequential packet delivery which is still in use today. In the early 90's, Mosaic was the first browser and was offered in one of the first dialup internet package called NetManage. Netscape followed shortly after that. Sad to see it go from a nastalgic point of view.

Huges has something called "FUP", Fair Use Policy. I had Hughes Directpc, I bought all the equipment up front. My first download started great, good speed but then about 15 seconds into the download, the speed dropped to less than I could get with dial up. Called tech support and found that I had to pay more money to get better access. I was girdled for 12 hours then back to normal, started download again, same thing. Called Hughes, dumped the whole thing. Was not a good service for me.

I agree, radio is dead as an effectve medium for music entertainment. I do listen to a local talk radio station but only because it is on local issues. I used to listen to a music station every day until one day management fired the complete staff and went to some mindless syndicated format. I also had XM for a while. I enjoy a wide range of formats but all XM did was put boring dj's on and repeated the same very small selection of songs every day. I could almost predict the song by the time of day...What a wasit of money for the receiver and the subscription...both XM and Sirus are doomed unless they get the gab off and go commerical free..

You have to watch what you buy at BB, they often simply repackage retruned items and put them back on the shelf. I recently purchased a S..y Dvd/VHS player, did not work out of the box, took it back for return. I placed a small mark on the box so I would know if it was placed back on the shelf as new. Returned a few days later and the box was back on the shelf packaged as a new item. I asked a salesperson if this was a new item, and he said yes, they had just received it. I asked him what he would say if I could prove that it was a returned item. He told me that was not possible and just walked away...I just left the store...I wont buy at BB on or off line...
