The program still has its merit as an easy and stable easy-to-use converting tool.
As the project development has only recently been restarted it would only be fair to wait and see how it turns out with f.ex. the h264-support:

Really dislike the unintuitive interface, the nagging info-screens seperating the free version from the payed one and have yet to see SAS finding/removing somthing the others don't.

I have both and this upgrade works perfectly. You really should try Windows Update :)
