I love the way MS calls simple UI a weakness. Over complicated interfaces like most ms products are their downfall. Who wants to keep clicking tabs and advanced and another tab and another advanced button to change a setting. The simple UI has always been the strong point for Mac and other software. Google hasnt changed their interface because they dont need to change it. simple and fast. I tried live mail and dont use it because it has large obnoxious ads. googles are smaller and less intrusive to the user experience. MS really needs to improve their UI before condemning others. (notice I have not said that any service/os/software is better than others over all just that some have a more user friendly interface)

i absolutley hate my comcast experience. unfortunatley there is no other cable competition in my area and am not sure if i can get satellite in my apt complex. I hope to have a better option soon. I just moved to my area and i have to say that comcast is about $40 a month more than what i had in my previous residential location
If you can avoid comcast, please do!! high price low quality picture, poor hardware. about 1 time a week i have to unplug my cablebox to reset it. i called customer service 3 times for the same issue and got 3 different answers.

I applaud dell for trying to make the upgrade process as painless as possible. It is not easy. My opinion is that those who are saying works great and love it or absolutley hate it are off topic. The focus of the article is Deployment services and isn't intended for home users. My company had no plans to switch to vista ("Upgrade" seems to be an opinion and a source of controversy) because there is no autocad for Vista that i know of. Not my decision, but we are an HP house. I hope HP has something to ease as dell does. deployment it truely not Dell's problem. They didn't have to invest in deployment tools. Again I give cudos to dell for the decision to make a deployment tool.
**I have never owned a dell and probably never will.**

I agree with god. MS made the whole vista thing too complicated. Odds are if you read beta news, then you have enough computer experience to understand what "Capable" means. i will use 2 examples that MS should have considered 1) end user on my network tells me all her programs have been erased, couldnt work and was going to get fired. -- She accidently hid desktop icons. She had no clue how to use the start menu.
2)I saw cheap speakers labeled "MP3 READY" can you imagine the number of people who bought those speakers to play mp3?
If you are going to run a marketing campaign, then should think through every aspect. If you are unclear, then you will end up with bad customer experince.
