0.4.154.22 Beta (Nov 19, 2008)

0.8 Beta 3 (Mar 11, 2007)
When I first saw that this was programmed in Java, I immediately thought it was going to be slow and not very good. I'm beginning to have a renewed faith in Java apps. Starts-up pretty quick, seems to run well, no problems that I can see. I think this deserves a solid rating of 4. As this is a beta version, I believe future revisions will make it even better.

Looks like Brusco is an M$ a$$clown...
Switching *FROM* vista *TO* Ubuntu is fairly easy and a much better idea.
All audio and video formats are supported. All networking works great. Who cares about playsforsure and proprietary software is what people want to get away from. Use open source not M$.
Don't listen to the M$ a$$clown flamebaiters.
11.0 RC2 (Aug 21, 2006)
I remember hacking around with Slackware back in 1993 when the distro was still pre-release. IIRC, only Slackware, Debian and Redhat were amongst the top distros at the time. Nowadays Slackware is perhaps one of the best when it comes to stability. The distro tends to be geared towards a more advanced user but it works well once you dive-in to it. Too many people are still comparing linux/*nix to windows. As I've said before, the right tool for the right job. I believe it's beneficial to have at least a couple of OS's if you're a "power user", or if you just want to learn. Don't be hatin :)

To coin a phrase:

11.0 RC2 (Feb 15, 2006 - 7:03 PM)
Publicity. What a great way to draw attention to GTA and Rockstar. It's unfortunate that law suits may take place but I think it will merely increase the overall visibility of GTA and Rockstar. Any publicity is good publicity, bad or good.

The KFTC shook the tree and out fell....
M$ and iNTEL. For those of us that stick with alternate OS's and AMD, I believe M$ and iNTEL will finally take a good hard look and say, "ooops! We f$%ked-up!". Might take a few years but the open source movement is starting to find a few chinks in the armor.
11.0 RC2 (Jan 30, 2006 - 4:09 PM)
I'm using winamp 5.2 build 359 beta.
Works like a charm.
