   Lets be fair guys. It is a decent browser. Leaps and bounds better than IE6 with a phishing filter and preinstalled activex need your permission to run is good work. Yes it is true it does have a way to go and renember that the Vista version runs in a protected enviroment so viruses can't get out. Something that other browsers would take a while to manage. The rendering engine still needs the odd fix. Does Acid2 make any difference to the average person? Does anyone really care if Firefox has themes. You don't need all these unneeded bells and whistles in a browser. As long as it works with nearly all web pages on earth then it is a good browser. Something where Firefox and Opera lacks out. IE fits this place and thats why it is a good browser.

   Really? Ive seen a DS with a heavily scratched frontplate and had to have one of its upper screen ribbon cables repaired with a piece of steel wire going outside the spine of the screen, from the same torment that you mentioned.
   
   Mine on the other hand is fine :P

   Save yourself $50 and remove the crap by hand if you want :)
   
   Of course, since your license key is on the side of the box, borrow a friends vista dvd (any type) and just whack the key in, you get the edition with the box and crap-free :D

   The aim of this build is to improve deployment through Windows Update, thats why. Though the build number is gone from System Properties.
