    I don't know why the article concludes with Jonathan Adelstein ridiculous remarks. The companies participating in this auction were virtually all public companies owned by their share holders, many of whom are certainly minorities and women.

    Very few privately held companies, minority owned or otherwise, could have raised the kind of money that was being asked for in this auction. Obviously, it would be better if there was more competition in the mix, but Verizon and AT&T are not "white owned" businesses.

    This juvenile and racist view of the world is for decades past.
