  1. Review - Mozilla Firefox (v3.5) for Windows

    3.1 Beta 3 (Mar 13, 2009)

No problem so far! All sites are loading really quick, great improvement from 3.0.7.

Read reviews saying that Safari and Chrome seem to be faster, but hey, Firefox is highly customizable! This makes up for the defects. Its a complete browser!

Competition comes when Safari and Chrome start incorporating add-ons. But I think, that will affect its performance. We'll see.

Heres a tip btw - Completely uninstall Firefox, as in remove from local settings etc and from the registry too - then install FF3.1 b3 - I've noticed a HUGE improvement when I did this. Its sure worth a shot!

  2. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v2)

    2.0.0.11 (Nov 30, 2007)

    @Netean

You don't have to download the entire programme.
Click on help > check for updates.. It downloads only the patch.. At least that's what it does on my computer..

  3. Review - Opera for Windows

    9.50 Build 9613 Beta (Oct 25, 2007)

Still having problems going to some sites..

    But otherwise.. Very Good Browser..

  4. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v2)

    2.0.0.5 (Jul 18, 2007)

I'm having trouble to access my Yahoo mail through Firefox and other browsers. Says cookie rejected.
Anyone knows how to fix it??

  5. Review - Codec for Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista

    8.1 Build 4 (Mar 27, 2007)

    Excellent Codec Pack....
But was wondering why its got an overall rating of only 3.0

  6. Comment - Bad Vista-to-Windows 7 upgrade experiences #2: No TV in Media Center

    8.1 Build 4 (Oct 30, 2009 - 9:30 AM)

I recently did a fresh install of W7 Ultimate 32bit. Using a Toshiba Satellite L500 series. After the frsh install, all my built in toshiba apps, drivers etc got removed.

Now, questions - How did I get them back? And which all do I need?
Also, the function key, no longer works. How to fix that?

  7. Comment - The heat is on: Latest Google Chrome closes the gap with Safari 4, Firefox 3.1

    8.1 Build 4 (Mar 18, 2009 - 11:22 AM)

    I use FF3.1 b3.

I don't feel like switching to any other browser unless it has an built-in ((or extension)) ad block option - like the Ad-Block plus extension where we can set get filters and make our own!

QUESTIONS - FF3 installs much faster that all the browsers mentioned in the list. How is it in Chrome? I haven't tried the new version, had read about some silent installing and what not.. can anyone enlighten me on that?

And why is Safari setup so big?

  8. Comment - Tests: Firefox 3.1 JavaScript outpaced by Safari 4, Google Chrome

    8.1 Build 4 (Mar 14, 2009 - 9:50 AM)

    I didn't notice this!

For the others - enter about:config - type, jit - make both the values true

  9. Comment - Tests: Firefox 3.1 JavaScript outpaced by Safari 4, Google Chrome

    8.1 Build 4 (Mar 13, 2009 - 5:40 PM)

After reading a recommendation, which said - Completely Uninstall Firefox - I've felt a great improvement in FF3.1 b3 performance.. very quick rendering of pages.. and it somehow feels that the browser seems to understand the web pages better now.. Completely uninstall includes removal from everywhere - locals settings etc and the registry too.. give it a shot!

  10. Comment - Tests: Firefox 3.1 JavaScript outpaced by Safari 4, Google Chrome

    8.1 Build 4 (Mar 13, 2009 - 3:30 PM)

Firefox makes up for its "defects" by being able to get highly customized.

Competition comes only when Safari and Chrome get add-on features.. if they do, I think it will affect the performance!

We'll know as it comes. But as of now, I'd stick with Firefox; the complete browser!
