I've been using UpdateStar for around a year now. It works smoothsly and informs you of new versions of installed software every few days. It also allow you to recommend links to download new software versions. Give it a try.
2003 (Sep 15, 2006)
A well written piece of software that does exactly what it promisses. It is developed by Microsoft and integrates smoothly with Outlook 2003. Give this useful tool a try and let your friends know about it especially before Ramadan.
2.6 (Jul 21, 2006)
I've been using this fantastic program for around 2 years now and always gave it a 5/5.
But I was very disappointed to find out that the new release lacks capturing and file conversion capabilities that are no more integrated! and instead they became two separate freeware that you have to download separately. I don't see the point since all are freeware anyways, why loose the integration and convenience?
Please consider integrating those useful again in the next releases.
For that I'll give it a 3/5 this time.
2.19 Beta (Aug 3, 2005)
An excellent utility with many advanced features that were only available in commercial packages like AcDsee, it deals with RAW camera files, converts between most graphics formats, supports lossless rotation, batch file renames, window or area capture to file and clipboard, redeye removaal, and many more. (5 Stars from me)

Very simple to use, yet very effective. I also like the possibility for you to add new cities that are not included by entering their geographical location.

Maybe because Windows 1.0 was clearly inspired by the Mac OS back in 1989?

Strange feature indeed for a spreadsheet, however, I have a feeling that it will all make sense in the near future; as Google is usually taking a holistic approach in designing those feature, it is probably part of a bigger future puzzle.
The feature might be related to Google Apps where the spreadsheet can be edited by anyone in the the same team for example without logging in.

Very well done, I really admire the creativity of Google's R & D team. This useful feature is sure to become one of Google's differentiators against competition.
