Symantec Endpoint Manager warns about IEDefender in 404Fix.exe at C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 3 Beta 4\SmitfraudFix\

  2. Review - Cobian Backup

    9.1.1.193 (Nov 4, 2008)

TC17, when you go to create a task, there's an option right on the General tab that says:
"Create separated backups using timestamps" right below "Include subdirectories".

  3. Review - Opera for Windows

    9.50 Build 9681 Beta (Nov 30, 2007)

When I upgraded, it wiped out the History and Sessions. Annoying. Now I'm less likely to upgrade.

Edit: Diam0nd seems to be clueless about the point of a review.

  4. Review - BOINC for Windows

    5.10.21 (Development) (Oct 3, 2007)

A pity when people rate a product they don't comprehend. Point Zero seems to have zero comprehension. Distributed computing helps take some difficult tasks and make them possible within our lifetimes.

BOINC needs a better UI. Being able to change prefs for a project within the UI, getting more info about a project when trying to add a new project, getting a better idea of what projects are available, etc.

  5. Review - BOINC for Windows

    5.10.19 (Development) (Aug 22, 2007)

Don't blame BOINC because you can't get your SETI alone, CharlieGimbert . Don't be a retard. Complain to the SETI@home people.

  6. Comment - After the Psystar verdict: Send in the clones

    5.10.19 (Development) (Nov 21, 2009 - 12:06 AM)

@jragosta When you quote someone, could you please make it so that we can tell the difference between the quote and your part? Thanks.

  7. Comment - PDC 2009: What have we learned this week?

    5.10.19 (Development) (Nov 19, 2009 - 9:02 PM)

They should keep the AppFabric name.

  8. Comment - Microsoft and Mozilla leave Web users tangled over 'variant' vulnerability

    5.10.19 (Development) (Oct 30, 2009 - 11:48 PM)

I'm a web developer (in addition to other IT things) and I'll take Silverlight and XAML over Flash every time. At least, I can convert XAML in any other form of XML, not to mention things like PDFs.

  9. Comment - Sprint quietly locks down Xohm WiMAX network while it awaits Clear takeover

    5.10.19 (Development) (Oct 30, 2009 - 2:44 PM)

Lousy customer service. Makes me less likely to ever use their service.
