  1. Review - Miranda IM

    0.4 RC2 (Jan 20, 2005)

Lacks a console and doesn't support AIM in anyway to speak of. It lacks the viewing of profiles and refuses to send files to Trillian. Also it's sluggish to send messages to MSN/ICQ than other IMs. But it's improving as we speak and I'm looking forward to changing to it in half a year or so, right now there is too many annoyances for me.

  2. Review - Trillian

    3.0 Final (Dec 18, 2004)

Bad bugs that have been there since the start, far from impressive.

  3. Review - Trillian

    Build 959 Alpha (Dec 10, 2004)

I used to love this program. And then I bought it. I thought they were going to fix old bugs in a month or two. That was one year ago and they still haven't fixed crucial issues like certain characters not displaying properly in away messages. The pure arrogance of the developers frightens me. And I been a fanboy of Trillian ever since it was released.

  4. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v2)

    1.0 RC1 (Oct 28, 2004)

It's really buggy using the plugins and without the plugins there is no real use for the software. And when it hangs (for example a webpage) its hard to try to delete the history etc. to restore it to normal again.

  5. Review - AudioGrail

    4.1.82 (Jun 19, 2003)

Great software, it doesnt look much but it does what its supposed to, and it does it darn fast. I tried a lot of other taggers (including the WMP one) and this one did the easiest and fastest job of them all. I added my folder, clicked search (it auto enters the foldername as a search, clever little thing) and then it downloads the information. I click once more, and it renames the files (configurable) and adds idv2/idv1 tags. I like it, I like it a lot.

Any other legal alternatives to this? Sounds very interesting.

  8. Comment - Security Flaw Discovered in Firefox

    4.1.82 (Apr 6, 2005 - 12:27 PM)

    Yes it is.
Why should there be a refresh button? Can't you just type the url again. Why do you need a velocity meter in a car, you can just count the time it takes to move between landmarks and find out your velocity. See my point? User interfaces are very important. I use more than one toolbar and half of my screen is filled up of grey dull toolbars ATM. I see your point too but...

Man you guys are seriously dull. Everytime someone mentions firefox everyone screams SECURITY in unison until someone disagrees, then everyone starts throwing rocks instead. Seriously, if FF was the biggest browser you would see a lot more exploits than it has in its current state. Also I find everyday that something is missing in FF, like you CANNOT move ANY toolbars at all. At all. What is up with that? But I'm still sticking with FF and Opera and the occasional IE browsing.

  10. Comment - Opera Provides IDN Fix in Updated Beta

    4.1.82 (Feb 27, 2005 - 8:02 PM)

I can agree that opera can be cluttered but to get the same functionality in Firefox you have to install lots of plugins that eventually will make the browser break and not work. I have tried firefox 5 times and it has always made my computer freeze, I'm not impressed. Guess I should limit the amount of plugins but I want my browser to do what I want it to and the plugins enable that... But only for a few sites..
