I decided to give this a look again since I haven't used it since the early 2.0 days when I switched to uTorrent. 48 megs of RAM with *no* torrents is completely unacceptable no matter how much RAM you may have or how much web browsers or whatever take up. I have 28 torrents open in uTorrent right now and it's using 15 megs of RAM and not even making a blip on or the CPU usage. That is the way it should be.
I only give this a 2 because it is still packed with features and customizable options, plus plugins.
However, I think in the future Halite is going to be the client to keep your eye on. Open source like Azureus yet very light weight like uTorrent.

Armit: I'd agree with you if all players were like this. However, there are many other fully featured players out there that don't use nearly the amount of memory.
On that note though, I still love Winamp. I've been using it since 1998.

It's about time for a new beta! Couldn't live without this program. Wish I could give it a 6 rating!

AT&T themselves offer streaming video on their MediaNet website...
And while YouTube isn't exactly streaming, it's very similar.

How will this .NET compatibility affect Mac versions of Silverlight? I know .NET is Windows only so will it still work?

It's highly unlikely you'll see any exclusives that would be very big. Unless Sony pays you a boatload of money to make the game exclusive, it just makes no business sense to put out an exclusive based on how small Sony's market share is.
3.60 Beta 3 (Nov 19, 2007 - 5:37 PM)
Because that's obviously what the private equity company that bought Seagate did, right? They were going down the tubes, got bought and now they're the biggest hard drive supplier in the world... if a company is beyond saving then it makes sense to break it up and sell it's pieces to companies that can make good with those pieces, but AMD is still a very strong company that just lacks good leadership and expertise and could use a break from the relentless goal of trying to satisfy investors at the end of each quarter that can ruin a company's ability to properly execute strategies.
