Very, very promising! Do not be shy to even go right to dotNET 3.5. It is a great environment, with great visual capabilities.

OK, I am writing this just to help your company. THE PRICE IS RIDICULES!!!
Apps like this should be about 50 bucks max. Sorry...

OK, that is very nice for hard-core gamers. One idea though. If there are so talented people, that are capable of writing drivers, why not write alternate drivers that will be an alternative to the PRO-drivers for FireGL , FirePro cards ... BUT for the regular graphics cards! :-) This would enable to run pro-apps smoothly on regular cards. (pro-apps not beeing able to run smoothly on "normal" cards are a complete cheekiness anyway!)

This thing simply rocks. Had a lot of PGs similar in function, but by no way so feature rich.
Still I have some points:
- interface could be more intuitive (maybe lines between the listed positions) (but of course please stick to a pure Windows style)
- apps like PING or TRACE should be multi threaded... there is no reason why one should wait for them and not look around at some other portions of the program
Anyway: just great!

There will always be some old school critics, who will never even want to adapt to change and new logical and research-proven advancements in interface design like the ribbon clearly is. It is of course very sad that these people are also the "loudest". Thats a shame. The good thing is, that almost all the professional CAD-world is on ribbon already with other markets following. Thanks Microsoft! Keep up despite the "oldies".

The best time for buying a new system was with the Core 2 Quad Q6600 :-) with a very low price point. It still rocks. Until prices come down considerably the i7 is not a real option for the masses. So having AMD still alive and trying to do something might be the first step to this direction.
