  1. Review - Safari for Windows

    3 Beta (Jun 11, 2007)

It's fookin' fast! Well done Mr Jobs

  2. Review - Mozilla Thunderbird for Windows

    2.0 Beta 2 (Jan 23, 2007)

This is substantially faster than 1.5 on a PC. Also, the striped message listing is very easy on the eye, as is the new theme.

These features alone make it a very worthwhile upgrade!

  3. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v2)

    1.5.0.4 (Jun 1, 2006)

    Works OK - what's new?

  4. Review - Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows XP

    7.0 Beta 2 Build 5346.5 (Apr 25, 2006)

An absolutely buggy piece of cr*p.

I downloaded this in good faith and with an open mind.

My tabs don't show at all for a start even though they are open (i can ctrl+tab to them).
It crashes periodically (just closes without any warning!).
Plus, i just generally don't find it user friendly. The hiding of the menus by default - what's that about?!?! It seems MS want to emulate the advanced features of Firefox and Opera, but fail miserably.

I really wanted to like IE7 but I can't until they start to think seriously about the UI and stability. Yes, I know this is a beta, but it's beta 2 for crying out loud. Firefox and Opera are (generally) far more stable in alpha builds!

    Sort it out MS...

  5. Review - Mozilla for Windows

    Milestone 14 (Mar 2, 2000)

I would much prefer to use Netscape over IE (or any MS product) anyday, however I have found IE much quicker and better supported. Mozilla is an excellent step in the right direction and even though this is still pre-beta, I like what i see...

  6. Comment - Groups Sue for New Florida Congressional Vote

    Milestone 14 (Nov 23, 2006 - 5:25 AM)

"Prove the truth" to us then, oh wise one.

A group of non-partisan people who are willing to stand up for the right of the people are anti-American? You're saying that America doesn't stand for the right of the individual and that a grand power-hungry government and large profit-hungry corporations should have the right to erode the rights of the majority of the population without any oversight?? Now THAT is anti-American my friend, if America is truly the land of the free. Politicians will always bash the ACLU as they give the common man a greater voice to limit their grip on absolute power and control.

Please tell me what kind of neo-con brainwashing have you been sucked into believing? I'm listening for the proof that you are so willing to confer to us unenlightened fools.

Apple are cheaper if you compare the quality for the money you're paying.

  8. Comment - Beta of Microsoft's Flash Rival Coming

    Milestone 14 (Nov 14, 2006 - 5:42 AM)

Not to burst your bubble dude, but it has been common knowledge that there was an MS flash rival coming out for a while and it is pretty obvious that the code donation Adobe -> Mozilla was in reponse to this. Just sayin'...

Keep your ignorant, sarcastic comments to yourself as they are deeply offensive to those of us that lost relatives in the war.

al-Zarqawi wouldn't be in Iraq and been commanding such a successful insurgency if the war hadn't started in the first place.

Make no mistake, the invasion of Iraq was the worst thing to happen to the cause of world peace and global stability.
