    The problem with a SoundExchange settlement is that Webcasters are no longer covered by the statutory license, and therefore can only perform sound recordings from SoundExchange member record labels. That does not really solve the problem at all.

    Well the good news if anything, is that Webcasters have seen what's at stake and are now gearing up to form an industry trade association to combat this injustice.
