1.9 Beta 13 (Nov 28, 2007)
Wiki's the first thing I "launchy" (google it here). Takes a whole SMIDGEN of time to learn but it's your whole life in a notepad. Images, urls, recipes, phone numbers, text, code, all fully searchable by keyword .. your life is in that Wiki. It's a web representation OF your life.
I've not checked out this new update so I probably shouldn't be writing but there IS a learning curve with Wikipad. Just like with anything else important in life. I don't consider this a CON but .. there's just too much stuff in it to even learn. I get by with just knowing the bare basics but when I get to work ..
right after Outlook it's the first thing that opens up for the day.
3.0 Service Pack 1 (Nov 22, 2007)
Looks like you've got a TuFF crowd here mr Gates. Everybody seems to hate dot NET's clr guts even more than your's.
BILL -> Ahh .. I know I know. Even I don't install these new frameworks at home. I've still got 1.1 running on my Gateway and it works almost as good as Windows 95, dos even.
Morale of the story .. like one poster posted ..
"How portable is PORTABLE when with every new release every human on planet Earth has to re-download 2 million byte then re-install it all?"
BILL -> I know I know. The bright side is, 4.0's going to be a whole heck of a lot smaller. Assuming we're still in business by the time it's pre-released.
1.0 Beta 5 (Feb 18, 2007)
If this one won't keep you up all night what will.
Does what it says on the box and then some.
1.0 Beta 5 (Feb 7, 2006 - 9:22 AM)
I've 38 stations so far. Anybody have an inkling of the "AI" behind it? Kind of tricky going thumbs UP or thumbs down because by going thumbs DOWN you modify Pandora's AI in a way that YOU may not have wanted it to be modified.
Incredible potential though. Imagine 4 years from now. You have to be careful when training your stations though. Just because you LIKE a song playing doesn't mean you want it in the current station that you are trying to build.
The thing works incredibly well IF you are very careful when you are training it.
