   For me it wasn't worth the effort. I don't have itunes on my system, and when I got a cap with a single song winner I gave it away last year. It was worth the $.99 to laugh at my friend as he was trying to pick a single song from their catalog because it probably took him an hour. If they started with say a 10-pack of songs as the minimum winning cap, I might consider jumping through the hoops to claim the songs.

   I'm one of those 480k users too, only got the damn address when I tried downloading the nets'crap communicator a year or so ago when you needed the addy to get the miserable browser. Now with the loss of the 'permanent' addy, AOL can take a flying leap.

   My aren't we just the optimist? I think that bug announcement is meant more for herding the users of AIM to upgrade their stuff. Nowhere in the article did it say what the code is or where to find it.

   Somehow I doubt the US gov't would let something ship globally that it couldn't crack. I would think the crypto guys @CIA pretty much have that crack down pat and are already working on the 256-bit encryption.
