Paint.Net is the best free photo editor that I've used. I recommend it to everybody. There is no way I'd ever recommend GIMP to the average user. Like the guy, I also prefer Paint.Net to GIMP.

I like the direction industry is FINALLY starting to head. I just watched CSI: NY using Adobe Media Player but honestly was not super impressed with the quality. I wouldn't seriously consider using this for my TV needs until they greatly expand the amount of content they provide AND raise the video quality.
Don't go and uninstall uTorrent quite yet.

Do you seriously think Microsoft will keep Windows Live totally free when it finally is completed??? They are totally going for a subscription model in the future with this.
It is only free now because it is in beta (and useless).

With Adobe Premier Elements 7 launching soon, and the leaps software like CyberLink PowerDirector 7 has made this seriously looks like a joke. You have to be kidding me.

I hate when companies group unrelated software into one install to push it onto everyone's computer. That's why half of my friends have 10 toolbars in their browser.
iTunes should install iTunes.
If I wanted MobileMe I would install it.
If I wanted Safari I would install it.
If I wanted QuickTime I would install it.

Online pay per rental models will be very short lived with the lure of subscription models on the horizon.
If the future we will all just be paying a subscription fee to have access to high def on demand everything. TV shows, movies, and music.

I don't see why these places can't just add the song to your "My Music" section when you buy it and let you download it as many times as you need.
Good job getting $.99 DRM free music though. I'll definitely buy music here over any DRM'd music stores.
