  1. Review - ClamAV

    0.93.3-1 (Jul 12, 2008)

    "ballyhairs & robmanic44"
Uhhhhh......is that suppose to be a review for ClamAV or NOD32? I'm a bit tired of people who write a "review" by saying how much they love another product, that's not a review. If you don't like ClamAV, say so and why, if you love NOD32 so much, go write a review on that page. I think ClamAV is a great, free AV product. I keep the portable version on my thumbdrive and use it to check "strange" computers (ie. hotels, libraries, cafes, etc), before I use them.

  2. Review - PrimoPDF

    4.0.2 (Jun 18, 2008)

Ouch! 10 MB, plus .NET for a .pdf maker? I prefer doPDF. 1.5 MB, no .NET, no Java, no GhostScript, free, and so simple a child could do it. doPDF for creating, Foxit for viewing. Small, simple, free.

  3. Review - Winamp Lite

    2.91 (Mar 11, 2005)

Tried 3.x..sucked! Tried 5.x...not bad, but more than I want. I just want something easy and cool to listen to mp3's. But, I don't use 2.91, I use 2.81, last "good" 2.x version. After 2.81, if you are running WinAmp, and run any program that changes screen resolutions (games, etc), when you exit back to your desktop, WinAmp is in the middle of your screen, it won't stay docked where you left it. This is a bug from 2.82 to 5.02. So, pick your favorite plugins, and run 'em in 2.81.

  4. Review - Winamp Standard

  5. Review - Nero

    5.5.10.56 (Mar 11, 2005)

I agree with (most) all below, used Nero for a long time. Tried 6.x ....sucked! Bloated and complicated. Went back to the last 5.x version...5.5.10.56. Small, simple, easy, does what it's suppose to do. Oh, and by the way, it DOES support DVD. File > New > in the upper left corner, there is a drop down box that let's you select CD or DVD to create. I've been burning DVD's with it for over a year now. Never a complaint.
