But a computer case has better ventilation and cooling solutions that a compact gaming console does. Also is single core if not 2 core not 9 in a small enclosure plus a very high end video card with still no room. All high end video cards run hot and have large cooling solutions while the 360 and ps3 have the same cards and cutting edge processors and little room for large cooling solutions and airflow.

For those of you thinking the ps3 isnt going to have the same heat issues the 360 is are just plaing ignoring the facts. The people who are having the heat issues with their 360s i could almost gurantee you have it in some place with little ventilation. Think of the processing 9 cores(umm fat chance that will run cool). Now add in the video card and you have a heater much like the 360 is. If you doubt these things just look at the computer side and see how "cool" they run for both the 360 and what equip the ps3 will have in it.

umm sony ES receivers are total garbage. It was 2 years ago the whole sony ES receiver lineup got recalled due to catching on fire with heat issues. Somehow these made it to the public. Those are produced for the ppl who only buy sony and are unfamilliar with quality home audio equipment. Their only real strength is in home av is with their displays. And even now they are deceptive with their 1080p SXRD's. Which have no 1080p input but have a 1080p display but tell anyone of the lack of getting the signal to the TV. Yeah, put all your eggs in sonys basket. I myself have a sony lcd tv, but they make a lotta stuff that isnt nearly as good but people buy it anyway based on their tv reputation.
PS if you buy anything that doesnt say panasonic/sony/toshiba/mitsubishi/hitachi/jvc as a TV you are stupid. I mean daewoo thats a leader product that is made from subpar parts. The fact you bought a daewoo says something in itself.
