  2. Review - Microsoft Windows Defender (32-bit)

    1.1.1051 Beta 2 (Feb 13, 2006)

Well I can honestly say that at first glance, the new "Windows Defender" formally Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware takes on a completely different UI. It looks like Microsoft has again simplified the program to make it easy for computer illiterate people to use, but at the same time there's advanced options as well. The quick scan that was done on my system seemed to be a little faster, which is good. No surprise that the UI was done in the way to match like Windows OneCare though. It's a bit too simplified to me now, but it seems to have kept it's touch.

  3. Review - Maxthon (Classic) Combo

    1.3.1 (Jun 11, 2005)

This program is amazing. You can make it look almost exactly like IE.. except it has tabs. I love this program.. there's so many things you can do with it. And for the ones that don't like the Internet Explorer engine because of security, you can even use the gecko engine. Best of all, this program is free and has no ads! This program even uses less memory than Firefox does. I absolutely love it.

  4. Review - Morpheus Basic

    5.0.0.577 Beta (Jun 7, 2005)

I decided I would try this. The ad is annoying. The amount of memory this program used up on my computer was crazy. It was very high and my computer was bogged down from the program a lot. The interface is not one I've seen before, which is one I really don't like. I did run tests on my system using Spybot and Ad-Aware and they found nothing (even while Morpheus was running) so it seems like it really doesn't have any spyware in it. Even so, the ads are very annoying and there are better alternative P2P programs without ads and that are free.

  5. Review - Windows Media Player for Windows XP (32-bit)

    10.00.00.3802 (Feb 17, 2005)

I don't know what it is about WMP but I very much enjoy it. You can do a lot with this program. I've never really liked winamp.. I guess it's because the skins I used are too blocky.. and the ones that seemed more streamline I couldn't read.. I could never find a decent skin for Winamp that I wanted but Windows Media Player left it with a lot to work with plus there's more skins you can try out. I love using windows media player for playing my music and watching the cool visualizations with them (winamp isn't great on visualizations in my opinion) and using it for video. I don't see why people hate Microsoft so much. Use the software.. honestly (keyword there) tell how you liked it.. people are such idiots now. "Oh microsoft is stupid.. so this is stupid" Use want you want.. but I like this... so I'll continue using it unless I find something more enjoyable.

    10.00.00.3802 (Jun 30, 2007 - 3:04 PM)

Can't forget... It's "the new AT&T" now. Unfortunately, I'm the one stuck with them for another year or two.

I really don't like them personally.

"Cingular" is basically non-existant now as I've seen AT&T taking over more and more.

  10. Comment - Microsoft, US Disagree on China Piracy

    10.00.00.3802 (Apr 10, 2007 - 10:39 PM)

So the US isn't happy because China is pirating... This is news because yet Microsoft says everything is peachy...

    Did I understand this correctly?
