It is fairly obvious that most of the negative reviewers did not read why they built a browser and how it works (in a comic book format):
http://www.google.com/go...books/chrome/index.html
or the features of Chrome:
http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/features.html
Take a moment and find out why you should be using this browser.

Great product! Would recommend. Again.
Also, BetaNews please keep up the good work of moderating this forum and deleting the posts with unsubstantiated accusations.

Installed vLite 1.1 Final. vLite required installation of more software to start the program, then froze when loading the installation files and had to be terminated. Nice.
No wonder Microsoft hasn't shut vLite down like AutoPatcher. vLite isn't a threat because it doesn't work well.

There seems to be some confusion here. Belarc creates a file. What you do with it is up to you. Some people have chosen to put it on a web server. Good luck to them. This is no different than creating a document with Microsoft Word and placing it on a web server. Neither program (Belarc or Microsoft Word) is inherently insecure and sharing informaiton. Where you save the files may be inherently (or otherwise) insecure.

Well, the security flaws known two months ago were fixed. That was then, this is now.

FireFox is not immune from vulnerabilities:

Also, you may want to read up on IE's Protected Mode before you discuss integration.

"I don't giver a crap about SP2 - I'm waiting for Windows 7."
You, sir, are a fanboi. Windows 7 sucks and I'm waiting for Windows 8.
Thank you, Das mod, for setting the tone. :)

We just rejected these as an upgrade to the AT&T Tilt (8900). Both iPhone and non-iPhone users had trouble using the touchscreen including the on-screen keyboard. The touch flo interface sucessfully made the phone feel as snappy as an 8100 (not good).
I agree with the "clunky" comment. I've noticed there aren't many pictures straight on from the side. The PDA is amazingly thick, but angled so the photos make it appear thin like an Epix (Blackjack III).

BetaNews: Please clearly disclaim when an article is written by a guest during "Bring Your Kid To Work Day."
Yes, I am shooting the messenger.
The user comments are more thoughtful and contain more technical information than the article itself. I don't want to repeat the observations already made, so I'll ask Scott to: 1. Read the FAQ; and 2. Read the download screens. Those two items would prevent Scott from asking himself so many questions.
My only regular UAC prompt is to run Asus' PCProbe II. The prompts I receive building a system are expected and not intrusive. With that said, this software seems to be a step in the right direction.
I'm a big fan of white lists. If this is done securely, it prevents me from responding to an expected UAC prompt. I am more concerned with end users clicking "Allow" as habit or turning off UAC entirely.
It will be interesting to see how similar this add on is to the UAC in Windows 7.
