  2. Comment - Wii Continues to Shine as PS3 Sales Slide Further

    1.1 (May 20, 2007 - 1:39 PM)

All I can say is "I Love My Wii", and play it 2 to 3 hours a day minimum. It has totally got my kid off watching TV. And most of the time we're playing the packaged game that came with it (Wii Sports). And in the coming months with more and more games coming out, it will get a LOT better. Existing games moving to the Wii platform are pretty cool also. If you haven't tried Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07, give it a whirl. Also, if you want to check out one game coming out around the November/December time frame, check out 'Super Mario Galaxy (http://wii.ign.com/objects/748/748588.html)'. This game is supposed to be the end all (at least of Mario Games). I know, Super Mario Sunshine sucked for the GameCube. . . . but this game will be a whole new experience. I've played all the consoles Nintendo has come out with since I was a kid. And this definately (by 10000000000000000%) beats them all. So if you haven't got one yet, go get one (or try to find one). It's definately worth the money. And my 2 cents about Sony, I have a PSP and a PS2, and I love them also (I play the PSP all the time, the PS2 is sitting idle since I got the Wii). But the PS3 (in my opionion) is overpriced. Yeah it might look good (actually the non video demos I've seen are okay), but I don't think it is worth the money at all. The engineers should have thought about that when they where designing it. Nintendo came out with a kick butt product that doesn't cost $600+

  3. Comment - TiVo Delivers Major Series3 Update

    1.1 (Feb 13, 2007 - 2:16 PM)

And this is why you are beginning to see more and more DVR applications running on PC's. With the exception of just needing a cable card and a decent video card with outputs to your television (a one time cost), there are no monthly fees to worry about, and the features are pretty good. Actually the new Windows Media Center bundled with Vista is pretty slick. Also, the article posted on BetaNews about a week ago (http://www.betanews.com/...More_By_2010/1169481622) shows the direction of where the Tivo is going to end up in the next 3 years.

  4. Comment - Eight Patches To Ring in New Year 2007

Does anyone know if the RTM version of Vista and O2K7 will be fortunate enough to receive these patches?

  5. Comment - Verizon Launches Child Locator Service

I just bought an LG Migo for my 8 year old daughter last Friday not knowing about this service. I'm now really happy I did. Being that her mother and I are divorced and live in different states, I can keep a virtual eye on my daughter.

  6. Comment - RealPlayer 10 Beta Debuts with Music Store

    1.1 (Jan 23, 2004 - 9:33 PM)

Since you hate it already, why even post. Does the word BETA mean anything to you? How about the first step past ALPHA which is the first step after internal release. I think REAL has done a hell of a job. Yes it is BETA code and it will have problems until it is released, but they are trying to get it to a huge audience to really ring it out. So next time you install a BETA product, and it doesn't install properly or run, you might want to look at the system you’re running it on. If you are using a product like NEONAPSTER, I can imagine the rest of the sh&^ware you have installed. Try installing on a clean system. I think you will be pretty amazed. Oh yea, REAL has been involved since the beginning. sure they went the wrong way renaming the product, but they admit it, and are going back to basics with a REAL kick butt product that will definitely blow any of the competition away until uncle BILL copies it.

PS - These are my opinions, and I do not work REAL
