4.2.0.72 (Dec 19, 2003)
I absolutely love this program and it's definitely my jukebox of choice... But WHY did they remove the button that makes it into the mini player?? Now I have to go into a menu or use a keyboard shortcut??? Why ?? Why would I want to maximize my iTunes ?? I wouldn't I just want that miniplayer button back!! That's why I gave this new version a 4 instead of a perfect 5. Other than taking out that feature this program is perfect and a good way to organize my mp3's!!
4.0 (Apr 29, 2003)
This FANTASTIC program has only been made that much better in version 4. Although I use both PCs and Macs, I REALLY wish PC's had a program with as much intuitiveness, good gui, and well organized interface. I really like the sharing feature built into 4. Now I can very easily listen to ALL of my music anywhere there's a decent iNet connection.
2.3.1 Beta (Mar 23, 2002)
This program is pretty spyware soaked, but let's remember it's still allows you to download something for free. I would suggest using the new music sharing program at www.furthernet.com to get some good stuff. Not the end all music program, but worth the download..
2.3.1 Beta (Dec 10, 2006 - 4:23 PM)
This article kills me... People just WANT to hate Microsoft soooo much... Yeah Microsoft does not do Everything right but name one company that does... This is just another company trying to start up a bunch of potential law suits against Microsoft... I was running XP just fine on a Pentium 2 - 300 with 256 megs of RAM @ the time (2002) to prove a point... Vista runs fine on ANYTHING 2 or 3 yrs old... IF you haven't updated since then then maybe you should seriously think about it... BTW Pretty much all MODERN flavors of Linux will BARELY run (if at all) on anything older than a 2 or 3 yr. old system... Seriously Companies... Microsoft bashing is so F'ing oldschool find a new organization or RIAA if you can't find any others to bash.... JEEZ
2.3.1 Beta (Dec 19, 2003 - 10:46 AM)
I'm a big fan of the iTunes program and the music store, but in this new version they took away the toggle button to switch it to the small player... Now you have to go to a menu to switch to the mini player instead of just hitting the the toggle button that was in 4.1... Why would they take away a feature like that ?? I don't see the point !!
