GUI, sucks.
Internals, good.
Perhaps give it a command line interface so all the leet kiddies feel at home. Offer RC5 encryption and the option for SSL tunneling, you know.. just so people think it's user friendly.

EU picking on MS? Allow me to be the first to break out the world's smallest violin to play the world's saddest song..just for Bill.
How many companies has MS run into the ground because of their business practices in the past? How many more have been absorbed by the software behemoth?
Still..why does the OpenSource community need access to Bill's box of secrets for any reason other than interoperability? And shouldn't that be the goal of any software company steering clear of the monopoly path?
MS withdrawing from EU..sounds like a dream. AU next pls!

Taping a late night movie and pausing it while the ads play is pirating (you're allowed to watch the television because your veiwing is being paid for by advertising).
I suppose they could try designing codecs which require you to veiw ads and what-not but there's always someone out there designing a better pause button.

Cutting edge technology would be 64bit processor support. The industry needs to junk the idea that slow machines need to be supported, what's a 1.5gig machine in another 6 months time?
My machine has been a bottom dweller over the past 5 years through all the good game releases and it absolutely sucks having to turn everything off to get games to run. I think a lot of people have been waiting for a good reason to upgrade and Doom3 is it.
Minimum specs = don't go outside in any outdoor maps to keep your framerate up.

They always do activate it - but do you honestly believe I like calling their number each time I install XP? 15 minutes hold.. 10 minutes hold, 20 minutes hold.. There's the BS.
