  1. Comment - Firefox turns five: Thanks for giving us a choice

    (Nov 10, 2009 - 10:04 AM)

Well it sounds like you do too!! Obviously you don't know the difference between WWW and the network upon it relies on.
Tim Berners-Lee helped and developed the foundations of the WWW and NOT the internet!!

Go back to school and in the mean time read this:"The terms Internet and World Wide Web are often used in everyday speech without much distinction. However, the Internet and the World Wide Web are not one and the same"

  2. Comment - The new face of Android: No face

    (Nov 4, 2009 - 11:34 AM)

I absolutely agree with your comment Rob, what users want is interface consistency so just in case they want to switch headset brands, they won't have deal with having to learn it all over again---apple has the right idea here--iPhone upgrades are nearly flawless with little user input needed. So far, Android proves otherwise.

  3. Comment - iPhone cannot win the smartphone wars

    (Oct 28, 2009 - 3:27 AM)

Hmm it just amazes me how much everyone hates(perhaps out of envy) apple's success with the iPhone. They just can't stand the fact that it apple pretty much now dictates in what direction CONSUMER smart phone should be going. Well get with it!!! It is NOT the 1980's and apple is a lot smarter with the way it launches it's products, and yes Android may gain some market share but saying that by 2012 apple will lose the smart phone "war" is far fetched. If anything, there will be no clear winner due to increased competition.

  4. Comment - Averting another format war, this time in 3D TV

    (Jun 17, 2009 - 9:22 AM)

This 3D TV business they are trying to shove down our throats is ridiculous!
We don't need that--its fine at the movies but, no one really cares for it at home--at least I don't!. People still watch TV on their old CRTs for Pete's sake! And many can't even tell the difference between HD and SD.
That is why, what they need to concentrate on is HDTV. Let's broadcast ALL content in 1080p, then maybe you can start thing about next gen stuff like 3D.
    just my 2 cents!

  5. Comment - Blu-ray Today: An analyst predicts 2009 will finally be its year

    (Apr 20, 2009 - 6:43 AM)

Dude why are you so angry at BR??
Relax , no one is forcing you to buy one, you can continue to buy pixelated DVDs till you heart's content, you can drive a f***** chevy pickup truck as well for all I care, but stop spreading this B.S. about BR demise--IT'S NOT going to happen. The biggest reason for slow adaption is economics--but that will change in time, and the second biggest is ignorance and negative perception of a CLEARLY SUPERIOR product by malcontent losers who can't tell the diff between SD and HD even if they own a HD TV Set.
