0.8.5 Test 2 (Apr 4, 2006)
Great functionality and works where other players don't. My only nit with it is the slider function. Its not smooth which makes it difficult to advance.
8.20 Beta 8 (Oct 14, 2005)
Great simulator - the best out there. Its so good, in fact, that the folks over at CarterCopters have used it for their pilot training and another company has hooked this into a full motion simulator for training pilots on some of the larger commercial aircraft. (See X-Plane's page for details).
Terrorist training tool? That is idiotic at best. What else should we ban because its a "terrorist training tool?"

Great encryption application - small, simple and works as advertised. The developer is also very responsive. I came across a minor glitch (which did not compromise security, reported the circumstances and it was corrected in the very next release (shortly thereafter).

Too many pages makes it unreliable? The last thing I want is Google or ANY source of information to hold back on what is available. I'm sure that there is room for improvement in terms of how Google determines relevance but if you're getting 2 million pages for a search then you are searching too generally. Use the tools that Google provides in its advanced search to narrow the results down. I wish I had your "problem" with some of the subjects I search on...

How about some details rather than broad generalities to support your anti-Microsoft stance? You would think that no other company in the world makes sure its software works best with its own stuff. Meanwhile, you're claim that VPC does not work with Linux is FALSE. It is not supported, granted but I have indeed installed Linux successfully. I'm sure there are distributions out there that don't work but there are some that do.
