  1. Review - Windows Live Mail

    8.0.1034 Beta (Oct 10, 2006)

Ian C. You clearly haven't reviewed this application at all. Just looked at the image.
    What a Joke!

Its a good app. Far better than the old Outlook Express. Pity it does have adverts however, there are worse things in life. Much more stable than previous versions.

  2. Review - MSN Toolbar

    2.0.2.1007 (Jun 9, 2005)

OK, i've given this a 4 because of the search features. Its great, and with the ability to add in plugins (for additionnal file types) its great.

Don't bother getting this if you want the tab browsing feature though. Its usless. Buggys, and unusable. Its really annoying. New windows still open in new windows. You can occasionally loose your tabs unexpectedly, but it still retains their presence in memory. i.e. BBC Radio 1 screen, i've just been surfing the web whilst listening to the radio (via tabs), i close one tab (using the tabbed browsing x) i no longer have the radio 1 tab page. But the music is still playing.....twisted.

  4. Comment - Symantec, Adobe Complain Over Vista

    2.0.2.1007 (Sep 22, 2006 - 2:31 AM)

Its all going crazy. The average user does not want to have to download all the various security software etc. Windows Defender being build into Vista add's to the security of the OS.

AS for the XPS .. i mean come on. Are adobe basically complaining that they have a competitor???

  5. Comment - Gmail Gives Up, Adds Delete Button

There has always been a delete functionality. Was just hard to find!

  6. Comment - Microsoft: No Public Beta 1 of IE7

    2.0.2.1007 (Jul 28, 2005 - 7:48 AM)

    Just downloaded it via MSDN.
Looks good, works well....appart from one snag, it won't by-pass the damn proxy server for certain addresses. Bug there i think.

  7. Comment - Microsoft: No IE7 for Windows 2000

    2.0.2.1007 (Jun 1, 2005 - 8:19 AM)

Microsoft are right to do what they are doing.
IE7 won't be out (in final relase form) until 2006.

I use IE6, and i find it very secure. The reason for this is I'm not an idiot who accepts everything that pops up in front of me. I've used firefox and found it lacking. And as for it being secure....what a joke.
People should stop knocking microsoft. They do a good job.
