    0.9 Beta 14 (Feb 13, 2006)

    Neither Foobar nor Opera are opensource, they are free however, which is the right price.

    foobar is by far the best music player on the market, I only hope they're hurry up and release the SDK so I could migrate to 0.9 from 8.3

    The UI is excelent, it's highly customisable and very lightweight.

    my guess is that like everything else, google are going to start collecting information. Where do most of google's products actually make money? What is the value of google earth? or calendar?

    The thing is, every time someone selects the 'give detailed feedback' option, that's more information google can collect about a user, which means better targeted adverts, the better an advert is targeted the more it is worth.

    Oh WOW google know what music you're listening to - run for the hills.

    Seriously get over it, it was ok that it logged your chats, but now it logs what music you listen to it's got to go? Does it really matter if google knows you listen to britney spears? The worst thing that's going to happen, is google ads and searches are going to be targeted better for you.

    Why don't you ask the users of Last.FM? (It provides much the same service)

    And I get the impression the list is tailored somehow to your own list - where you're searching from.

    Of course you realise, software is many many times more complicated now than it ever was on your commodore 64, you'd be hard pressed to find a file that would even fit on a c64's disk let alone, into the system's ram (Utorrent I think would fit, but not run).

    It's a great program;

    And I AM a photoshop user. Paint.NET is great when you want to do something quick to a file without having to load photoshop up (crops, screenshots, colour adjustments).
