  1. Review - Mozilla Thunderbird for Windows

    1.5.0.8 (Nov 8, 2006)

Thunderbird is a good client - for mail. However, it lacks the calendar functionality to make it my replacement choice for Outlook. It handles IMAP better then Outlook though. Has some quirks which make it a little difficult to set up initially - some options are really well hidden.

  2. Review - lphant

    3.00 Beta 2 (Oct 25, 2006)

Wouldn't Open source licence suggest that the source code is available? I don't see any such suggestion of it on their website.

  3. Review - SmartFTP (x86)

    2.0.998.19 Beta (Sep 15, 2006)

I used this program for a long while, but always found there were some issues with it. Usability level was an issue as well - there are a few programs out there with layouts which are nicer on the eyes - FlashFXP for example. The fact that it is free for personal use, gave it an extra point.

  4. Review - nVIDIA ForceWare Drivers for Windows 2000/XP (32-bit)

    77.76 Official Beta (Jul 21, 2005)

similacrum: ATI can't make drivers if their life depended on it. Catalyst Control Centre? Its a joke. Takes up too much memory, requires you to have .NET installed, and is just pointless - whatever happened to the advanced settings in the display properties. It must have been too hard for them. I've used NVIDIA and ATI (Latest ones: X800 and 7800GTX). ATI may be hailed by the likes of you, but in the end, for me at least, NVIDIA's cards always worked with less hassle. On top of that, I've had a couple of ATI cards die too. Before you start flaming a product that you probably don't even use, have a think about how moronic you sound.

  5. Review - K-Meleon

    0.9 Beta 2 (Oct 28, 2004)

I thought Firefox was already a light and small client?? Also, was there really a need to call tabs layers?

  6. Comment - Beta Test a Mobile Phone with TV

    0.9 Beta 2 (Jan 13, 2007 - 3:21 AM)

Vodafone in Australia already gives you 2 free channels (live broadcasts of public TV), with other channels having a subscription fee attached.

Doesn't seem like there is anything new or exciting about this.
