  1. Review - ATI Catalyst Drivers for Windows XP

    5.4 (Apr 7, 2005)

    32MB? No thanks.

  2. Review - Miranda IM

    0.4 RC3 (Apr 5, 2005)

I started using miranda about a year ago and since then I haven't found anything better. If you've ever tried gaim, this is similar but with a very low memory footprint and hundreds of different plugins and ways to customize it. I've heard it works well on linux with wine, too.

  3. Review - Media Player Classic for Windows 2000/XP

    6.4.8.4 (Mar 21, 2005)

    Simply the best.

  4. Review - BitTorrent for Windows

    4.0.0 (Mar 9, 2005)

Very minimal, I don't like the bloat of some of the other clients. This does the job and is the original. Much improved GUI. 5 for me.

Solid java client. If I were using linux this would be the client I'd use. Sadly mIRC on windows outperforms it right now..

I doubt it's the same as adblock, although this new version of Firefox and the adblock extension will surely give advertising companies something to think about..

"Just like the iPod, Google and all of its services are lame and overhyped."

Haha. I'm sorry, but what's in today is the cool factor and ease of use. Firefox, iPod and Google are in. Microsoft, Yahoo etc. are out this round..

Microsoft CHOSE to have the activeX "feature", integrating the browser into the OS. It doesn't matter what features browsers do and do not have. What matters is the ease of use, and yes, for now it's Firefox. If you can't see that then you're either ignorant or lazy.

  10. Comment - Mozilla Bug Bounty Raises Questions

I would imagine that any company that knows of a bug would patch it as soon as possible, that is what the bug bounty is for after all, isn't it? Open source has a place in the future and it's not going anywhere, better get used to it.
