   as a matter of fact, last pc i bought from best buy had red hat 7.0 pre installed...FROM THE STORE IF YOU ASK THEM TO PUT IT ON FOR YOU!! so, you DO have choices...:) just my 2 cents..btw, that was back in july when i did that..

   ok, to settle the whole thing about dos, bill gates and steve balmer bought dos for 50,000 USD and had actually licesened it to ibm even before they had it...pay attention to you're history guys...btw, the whole windows macintosh deal who came up with the gui first, it was xerox, not MS or apple...:) apple as given it by xerox and bill promptly oproceded to "borrow" parts of it for windows 1.0. just fyi and my two cents

   Ok, first off, 2474 is nothing but a few bug fixes for 2469, with some of the rc1 screens inserted, and other cosmetic work, with a newer build of dx 8.1. That and 2474 is an internal lab build, so..i wouldn't recomend gettin it till 2480 hits the beta testers.
