  1. Review - PerfectDisk Professional

    10 Build 104 (Apr 3, 2009)

UNLESS,m they finally addressed the SLOW and inaccurate Defrag, this is the slowest of them all.
I tried this over and ovewr.
O&O is way faster BUT it does take forever defragging External USB Drives.
Obviously, given the fact that they released numerous version with in the last couple of months, they do know that there are probklems.
I hate it when they just release a new version here WITHOUT a change log.

  2. Review - Spyware Terminator

    2.5.6.316 (Mar 24, 2009)

I give the nprogram itself a 5 BUT now you arebeing FORCED to install even when using Advanced setup, which is normal to leave certain items out.
I do NOT intend to run any sort of tthird party item with a specific program function.
This also means, that the Crawler is excempt from their spyware definitions , which would be automaticallty crippled if installed by ceertain other programs.
Too bad, i also used this proggie since the start.

  3. Review - GetRight Pro

    6.3b+02 (Dec 5, 2007)

    Endless Options, Integration flawless.
Accelleratin truly works, I am on 15 MB down pipe...
Best there is and I test a LOT.
I paid they deserve it !!

  4. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v2)

    2.0.0.7 (Sep 21, 2007)

Dwapite my liking for Firefox, the latest installer has the googlebar AND Google Desktop hidden as install, as detected by Kaspersky.
I do not appreciate hidden installs.shame on you !

  5. Review - Spyware Terminator

    1.9.3.142 (Jun 13, 2007)

I am sorry, but this is NOT ready for primetime.
    This program identifies false items.
    Example
Acronis true image backup scheduler is marked as critical........absolute false.
Epson web printer is marked as spyware and on and on.
Beautiful GUI but thye DB needs definetly more info on which apps are to be considered safe.

  6. Comment - Microsoft Releases Public IE7 Preview

    1.9.3.142 (Feb 1, 2006 - 3:25 PM)

Strange, no one mentioned this, so i assume its my machine.
Favorite icons all missing, i am talking the html icons.
As a matter of fact, i was unable to open any of my favorites since they got merged.
MSN searchis the default and cannot be removed ??
Online banking throws a warning up ..not supported.
The phishing add on may be cool but that is a very slim field, who decides this and i do agree, the gui looks horrible.
HOWEVER the page rendring is FAR faster thanprevious.
Was worht a look but i went back for the time being.
    Thanks for the glimpse.

  7. Comment - Yahoo Joins with Verizon for FiOS Offer

    1.9.3.142 (Jan 19, 2006 - 5:47 PM)

I can't wait to get FIOS supposedly in new home IF we qualify.
    Cable 6MB down 400 KB up 49.95
FIOS 15 MB down 2 MB up 49.95

I am all over dat and the TV once they offer it

  8. Comment - DirecTV Caught Violating 'Do Not Call'

    1.9.3.142 (Dec 14, 2005 - 3:06 PM)

    Say what?
Satelite here in my area is way cheaper.
Example Time Warner, 1 BOX HD DVR regular digital channels in all other rooms 60 some channels.
    104 Dollars after taxes
    vs
    Dish
HD DVR and Dual tuner DVR all movie channels 86+ a month after taxes.
Signal and sound FAR superior to cable.drawback..monopoly cable blocks us from getting local channels released .
Dont speak for everyone, Cable prices here rise almost quarterly, basic alone is 46 Dollars.
Cable does offer FART better DVR functionality and on Demand features less for PPV and no stupid permanent phone connection required, plus no fee service calls vs 29.95 "5 dollar mo insurance" otherwise 79.95.
