    Because the server is exactly that, a server. You can't run the images using just 1 machine, which is a PITA for many people.

    The memory usage has been decreased dramatically, before it was like 100mb with about 3 tabs open for about an hour, now it's more like 65mb under the same load.

    irivers beat ipods on more fronts than just SQ and FM tuners, what about OGG support, excellent battery life, useful f/w upgrades, decent support where you actually get a reply to emails. Having said all that, i was surprised that Creative didnt get more attention from the koreans, i've got both a creative muvo tx and an iriver 890, i switch between them, and theyre both very good. i keep the creative mainly because it has a great battery life when using NiMH batteries, upwards of 14 hours!

    well, this tactic was tried by 3do a few years back, look how successful that was. Although things have changed a lot since then, I doubt this kind of thing will ever catch on in the games industry.
