  1. Review - Avant Browser

    11.0 Build 45 (Feb 13, 2007)

all ie shells are crap and are all the same, either use ie(bad idea)or use alternative browsers like opera or firefox.ie shells only add features on top of ie so it uses the vulnerable trident engine while providing a different but similar ie interface.

  4. Review - µTorrent for Windows

    1.4.1 Beta Build 405 (Jan 19, 2006)

utorrent starts slow and stays slow and will pick up but takes a long time to do so,also it should be made into an installer as it would be easier for newbies to use it,i recommend you stick with azureus or something else.

  5. Review - Vuze for Windows

    2.3.0.7 Beta 28 (Jan 19, 2006)

to all these noobies that say azureus is slow and lags internet:
it is not azureus fault that it is laggy, you can blame the java for it(just update it)and if you people were to start uninstalling those useless plugins and limit the ammount of connections and limit your upload speed to 80% of your total speed then your internet will work great and not suffer, azureus high memory usage is due to the way it is coded as in java,if it were coded in c+ then it would use low memory,i have seen bitcomet use far more memory than azureus especialy when downloading alot of torrents, remember that the more connections you make the more memory and cpu time and internet speed will be required,if you were to limit those then there would be no problem,i've done it and azureus does not take more than a max of 75MB of ram at most and does not slow down the internet, before i did that azureus was a major hogger but not now, azureus may take a few extra seconds to start up and initialize but it's worth it for everything it offers,it offer statistics and pieces n stuff and that is cool stuff,if your pc is like 10 years old or something very slow then use a non java based client like bitcomet but otherwise stick to azureus and follow my tips and you will be ready to go in no time and setting up port forwading is a snap with azureus but the main config would be in the routers config and feed azureus the info and your ready to go.
