  1. Comment - Stern Leads Sirius to Large Loss

"Oh, and stern didn't bring 2 million subscribers to sirius."
    ------------------------------
No, he didn't. It was more like 3 million.

The facts are all there for you to see above, should you care to investigate the documentation.

Given your disdain for Stern, I suspect you'll ignore these and continue with your bashing....

"For the record, I have nothing against Sirius and have never even listened to their service."

"Regardless of how long that is, it sure is a nice teaser for XM."

    ------------------------

Oops. You're pretty convicted for someone with "no bias."

BTW the GM "teaser" was 1 year for me. When I chose to cancel in February they offered me the service for $4/mo for one year.

And really...compare the number of GM vehicles to the number of Mercs sold in a given month and you'll still have XM with the majority of "gimme" subs. Sirius has along way to go before they get close to XM's giveaway quantities.

I appreciate your bias, but the GM promotion is counted as a new subscription. Even as such, Sirus has been signing them up 2 to 1 since last fall. And the O&A deal will last perhaps twice the time CBS gave Roth...unless the FCC hits 'em first. Moonves and Freston have become the comedy team of the year...

Funny. XM has been doing the same thing with GM for three years now. Talk about fluff...
