  1. Review - Hornil StylePix

    1.0.0.1028 RC (Nov 3, 2009)

I like the small size of the program in relation of what it can do. It is continually improving & can only get better.

  2. Review - XnView for Windows

    1.96.2 (Jul 2, 2009)

I have used this for years. I prefer the layout over other programs. Also if you think that it is too big for a pen drive, then all you need to have is xnview.exe set up as a portable. It is then only about 1.5Mb. By doing this you loose some of the extras that get installed with a full installation.

    Edit:

It is about 1.5Mb if you use UPX to compress it. If you don't know what UPX is then you would not be using it anyway & you would be stuck with the original bigger file size.

I have a Sony car stereo that has a USB port plus an SD slot which is brilliant!

  4. Comment - iPhone and the Death of the Mobile Web

    1.96.2 (Jul 11, 2007 - 7:07 PM)

"the first time the Web has been actually usable on a phone." Get real - I have been using Nokia Communicators for years. They have WAP capability but I have never bothered to use that because they can surf normal web pages with the built in browser. As a plus the communicator has a real keyboard and joystick device. I think that an i-phone is a step backwards - you should take the time to do a comparison between the Communicator & the iphone.
