    DASHBOARD TIP - Your wish has been fulfilled!
    Take a look at the freeware Amnesty. It gives you almost total control over widgets (location--desktop, floating, layered, opacity), and let's you keep the ones you really like always visible instead of calling up the dashboard layer.
