  1. Review - RoboForm

    6.9.97 (Sep 28, 2009)

    @PJB. Sorry I stand corrected. I still don't understand the concept of a user of lastpass having to log on to a remote server to access passwords stored locally. But I'll accept you explanation of the lastpass product's security features. I'll give it a try. But for now, I prefer roboform.

  2. Review - Ashampoo Burning Studio

    9.12 (Sep 6, 2009)

    @pjb. I tried and like gburner. Very good feature set in exchange for the reduced file size. I keep burning studio at the top of the list only because it automatically retrieves music track information from the net when ripping and because it has a builti in labeling program. This, obviously adds to the program size. Butg I wouldn't call it bloat.

  3. Review - Google Chrome for Windows

    4.0.201.1 Beta (Aug 18, 2009)

    @CobraPL
    Thanks for recommending SRWare's Iron. I liked Chrome's speed but not the data tracking. Iron's just as fast without Big Brother sitting behind my keyboard.

  4. Review - Image for Windows

    2.40b (Jul 17, 2009)

    @Wodez.
    It does restore individual files with the included utility, tbiview.exe. I agree with Brian 49: "Terrific software - works perfectly and reliably every time."

  5. Review - Nokia PC Suite

    7.1.30.9 (Jul 2, 2009)

    Stupid Nokia music module still won't connect to Nokia server at least with my n85 & firewall disabled. Last good version for me was way back at v6. There's complaints about the version seven's all over the Net. What a way to alienate customers.
