1.0 Beta (Oct 7, 2008)
Well...it does what its supposed to do but if you go into add/rem programs select uninstall bonjour and well its gone, what does this do different? It works but seems pointless...
8.0.1.11 (Oct 3, 2008)
Its bloated, its slower then molasses and constantly has programs running in the background whether you use it or not.
It does not monitor music worth a damn, unless you use their method (luckly there is a free software download to monitor which is nice)
To the "educated" person calling cyberdoc a idiot because he received several bluescreens,
It was well documented that the driver that was installed with Itunes caused blue screens on
Windows.
Also Apple only recently changed it that Safari is unchecked now by default before unsuspecting people were given a surprise.
The Interface is horribly bland and you can either sync songs manually or automatically - cannot do both at the same time
The new screensaver is nice though...
1.0.0.7a Beta (Sep 23, 2008)
So you give it a bad review because the requirements tell you need framework 3.5?
Before you install, if you look right below it says
requirements :framework 3.5
That aside, the program does what it says it resizes your photos
0.90 Build 1249 Beta (Jul 25, 2008)
I have to say I like this a lot, it moves faster then any of the other mail clients I have tried and have had no errors at all.
Its very smooth navigating from one area to the next, its constantly runs in the background and I don't notice any issue with slowdown.
I am currently running this on Vista 32 bit 3 Gb RAM amd x2 6000 witha nvidia 8600 gt 256 MB card
1.2 Beta (Jun 18, 2008)
Well... it works but this already exists in Vista...
So it gets a 5 because it works for what its designed for but its not needed for Vista.
1.2 Beta (Nov 14, 2009 - 11:13 AM)
This is a blog for godsakes, he can say whatever he wants, we aren't living in nazi germany.
1.2 Beta (Nov 12, 2009 - 10:05 PM)
You could already browse music from a webbrowser for the Zune for quite some time now fyi...
1.2 Beta (Nov 12, 2009 - 4:25 PM)
So if Apple did this you would praise it above and beyond all of things as clearly you are a fanboy... who cares if it has 100,000 apps...Half of those apps are demos to get you to buy the real item, another big percentage of them are useless altogether, the majority of them are just duplicates.
Winmo has quite a lot of apps as well....You may not know this but apps for windows mobile have existed for far longer then the ipod even became an idea.
The only thing apple did differently was add it to their device and make a long process out of getting an app approved.
1.2 Beta (Nov 3, 2009 - 6:09 PM)
Another fanboy rant? Seriously? Had you looked you would see two recent failures of Apple's and there's more you can look for yourself. We get it you hate MS but trying to state that Apple is gold, you really are delusional.
If we are talking looks, Apple has looked the same since System 8 - the difference is eyecandy and the dock but essentially its still the same if we are going to play the compare game.
Apple is stable not because of the OS but because of the hardware - it can have the exact same problems and be just as unresponsive as Windows. Most problems in Windows is caused by a third party.
Viruses exist on Windows and will continue to as its the dominant platform it holds 92.26 in Marketshare compared to 5.27 for a Mac. When Mac becomes the dominant platform you honestly believe it will be virus free? If it was hacked before all other Operating systems I cant imagine a virus would be that hard on a 92.26 Mac fanbase.
Windows stopped using MS- DOS after Windows 2000 in their OS - A command line does not mean MS- DOS exists still FYI - In XP it uses a virtual DOS Xp is based on the Windows NT system and does not use DOS as a base OS and so on and so forth.
Also I don't see how Microsoft could copy OSX when it looked nothing like it and still doesn't - because it uses transparency and nicer interface this is copying? Plus XP came out in Oct 2001 but MS has always beta tested their software for at least a year and OSX came out in March 2001 so how exactly could MS change everything from there? Anyone remember the betas, I don't unfortunately.
"Could you imagine apple coming out with a new operating system and 3 years later over 85% of their users are still on the predecessor- and they had to demand that manufacturers quit putting the old OS in their computers?"
Yeah, Apple did that you call it Snow Leopard, there has been nothing but problems with it, they released one service pack right when it came out and service pack 2 is in testing. Also they made it so hardware from 2006 would be obsolete as power pc users cannot upgrade to snow leopard. Whereas a PC 5 years old will run Windows 7...
1.2 Beta (Nov 3, 2009 - 11:20 AM)
Also, you don't ever hear this nonsense with ANYONE else, like OMG Best Buy totally copied Circuit City or OMG Walgreens and CVS totally stole that idea from Insert name brand store....
