  3. Review - Java SE Development Kit (JDK) for Windows

    7 Build b19 (Sep 1, 2007)

    Just a small note:

The programs run faster or slower depending in how good it was coded, same applies for other languages.
What i have seen with java is that there are lots of bad coders giving java a bad reputation.
This also applies for big companies codding.
Some people/companies should be just be banned from coding in java!

    Kind regards

  4. Review - AntiVir Personal Edition for Windows

    7.0 (6.35.00.41) (Jun 16, 2006)

Good product, i have been using it for almost 1 year.

The update feature works fine (every single day) and i never got a virus in my system.

About the comment "There is no way I would pay when it works like this.", i am sorry to disapoint you but this is a freeware product for single users.

  5. Review - Partition Logic

    0.61 (Feb 2, 2006)

Looks nice but i was unable to test it, i got a kernel panic when i tryed to run it on my Vmware.

Looks like i will have to burn a cd in order to test it :)

I give it a 4 for the good idea

  6. Comment - Speed tests: Google curbed Chrome 3 speed prior to stable release

I don't know about you, but this kind of articles are making me sick.
One browser 100 nano seconds faster then other...

OS providers should work more like this. IMHO i think the browsers are already fast enough, the only thing that slows browsers is the network bandwidth, since it has been more and more used by spamming emails, worms, ..., and crap like that.

Just my 2 cents of the month.

  7. Comment - iPhone prototype suicide case had previous violations, says Foxconn

Every company must to have it's secrets, or they work will jsut be used to make some one else, that usually doesn't work that much, get the credits.
The limits of doing this must be always controled. If they subcontract a company, they should check from time to time if they are behaving!

  8. Comment - Microsoft takes big hit: Q4 revenue falls for all product divisions

    0.61 (Jul 24, 2009 - 6:49 AM)

Droping in sales doens't mean they don't get profits. But for stockholders the word that rules is grow grow grow!!
For them get a decrease is something not acceptable no mather what.
That is why so many people are unemployed, to try to put growth back up, even if the global crises is just temporary.

My 5 cents of that day is that the employers should by the stocks and kick the rich fat guys, that don't know what work is, out of it.

    regards

  9. Comment - AMD claims six-core Opteron performance lead over Intel Xeon

    0.61 (Jul 15, 2009 - 10:48 AM)

It is god to know that AMD is working to stay alive. I hope it continues like that for a long time.

Now i have to comment this:
"If your cost per watt is $5 -- which I would argue is conservative"

5 dollars a watt? Are you crazy?
Considering my country prices is would be like 10 to 15 cents.

I think someone should review the posts made in this forum.

It was my 5 cents POST of the month :)
    Kind Regards
