  1. Review - Google Chrome for Windows

    4.0.302.2 Beta (Jan 22, 2010)

Despite what the google sheep claim, it's finely polished spyware.

  2. Review - OperaTor

    3.5 (Jan 6, 2010)

This is excellent. Very convenient AND portable. Just unpack the zip, run OperaTor and you're off. None of the messy configuration that can accompany setting up Tor. It's a keeper.

  3. Review - Where Is It?

    2010.104 (Jan 5, 2010)

Everything else is a toy compared to Where-Is-It. Its feature-set puts it way beyond simply cataloging your cds and dvds. I would be lost without it.

  4. Review - UltraExplorer

    2.0.0.0 (Oct 29, 2009)

I've been using this for a while and it's exceptional. Great features and solid. This newest 2.x version is better still. Definitely worth a look.

  5. Review - Serv-U

    9.0.0.3 (Oct 6, 2009)

Absolutely awesome features, but expensive as hell.

  6. Comment - Why I chose Windows 7 over Snow Leopard (and you should, too)

    9.0.0.3 (Sep 17, 2009 - 3:11 PM)

"The Mac OS X user interface, once trendsetting, is now a tired motif overdue for overhaul."

I agree. Mac app interfaces are usually ugly - for instance Safari. Yuck.

  7. Comment - Windows 7: Don't upgrade, says FSF, your civil rights are in jeopardy

    9.0.0.3 (Sep 2, 2009 - 6:07 PM)

Make some flavor of Linux a *user friendly* and quality alternative and I'll switch.

BTW internetworld7 - "Get a Mac and be free" is about as laughable a comment anyone can make. Are you being serious?

  8. Comment - Mozilla chief: Microsoft ballot screen leaves IE 'uniquely privileged'

    9.0.0.3 (Aug 24, 2009 - 1:20 AM)

Does Firefox offer Bing by default or even at all? STFU Mozilla.

  9. Comment - Mozilla chief: Microsoft ballot screen leaves IE 'uniquely privileged'

    9.0.0.3 (Aug 24, 2009 - 1:18 AM)

Unscrupulous... So PC makers, once their arms weren't twisted anymore, would have offered what? Linux? OS X? Please.

  10. Comment - Bing vs. Google rematch: Who's getting better, quicker?

    9.0.0.3 (Aug 21, 2009 - 1:31 AM)

I find myself happily using Bing 90% of the time now. It returns very useful results. A bit less junk than google these days.
