I've been using this for a while and it's exceptional. Great features and solid. This newest 2.x version is better still. Definitely worth a look.

There are better dedicated players out there now, but the versatility of this is great. It is more than just a simple player. I use KM Player now, but will always keep this installed for when KM chokes (which it often does). Also, I use its streaming ability to transfer stuff off my comcast box at home. It's a solid app.

v2 is not so good compared to v1. This new version is featureless with a goofy skin. v1 was a bit buggy but usable, but look elsewhere if this is what it's turned into. It seems maybe it's supposed to be a front end for their online backup service or something - regardless, weak compared to its other free competitors.

Tried this and absolutely love it. Find it indispensable. Old Cool Beans Sysinfo isn't cutting it any more. Very well written and thought out.

"The Mac OS X user interface, once trendsetting, is now a tired motif overdue for overhaul."
I agree. Mac app interfaces are usually ugly - for instance Safari. Yuck.

Make some flavor of Linux a *user friendly* and quality alternative and I'll switch.
BTW internetworld7 - "Get a Mac and be free" is about as laughable a comment anyone can make. Are you being serious?

Does Firefox offer Bing by default or even at all? STFU Mozilla.

Unscrupulous... So PC makers, once their arms weren't twisted anymore, would have offered what? Linux? OS X? Please.

I find myself happily using Bing 90% of the time now. It returns very useful results. A bit less junk than google these days.
