Hollywood... grow up dude.
Competition = Good for Consumer
Whining about competition = Bad for Consumer
I myself am looking forward to the current gen consoles: PS3 & XBox Wiienerizing themselves with motion controls.
Should be a heeewt.

another +1 for population control... No one should really have reason to complain about WoW players, it's voluntary population control, well unless you lose a family or loved one to it...
What is a weakness to one segment of society presents opportunity's to others that rise above it.
I happily don't play, but own plenty of stock in Blizzard! Lov'n it!

I'm a PS3 owner, no xbox nor wii... But am quite grateful for m$ and nintendo products.
What fan boy knob jobs out there don't realize that competition among the big boys (sony, nintendo, m$) heightens product quality and lowers price all around!
PS Fan boys: Remove heads from a** and realize Sony would rape you in price & quality without competition!
M$ Fan boys: Remove heads from a** and realize M$ would rape you in price & quality without competition!
Nintendo Fan boys: Remove heads from a** and realize Nintendo would rape you in price & quality without competition!

Loving it. Many cheers for all the Ubuntu success. After trying Vista, leopard, and Ubuntu, I've been an Ubuntu, primary OS, for over a year now.
Vista looks nice, but is a DRM beast that leaps from your worst nightmares into reality, it's also buggy, slow, and has very poor drivers support.
Leopard is very solid, great apps, but apps + features development is always lagging a fair distance behind the open source movement.
Ubuntu is solid, UI is gorgeous (ms should steal it), apps and features move right along with open source developement. The only drawback... gaming support, is quite weak and emulation of games is non-existent, except wine...
Gotta say, Ubuntu is the OS of choice, unless you game.

If you understand supply and demand you might realize that supply has stayed the same and demand has increase many times over since HD-DVD went dead.
@Fewt - If supply stays same and demand increases what happens to price? Solve for x:
