I do download a whole bunch of stuff but I in no way encourage piracy. Companys need to come up with a better way to charge people for their products. In the Adobe Photoshop scenario: they should charge premier price for professionals who actually make money off of their products. But for younger people who are just learning to use their products should not pay $1000 for the software. Imagine a 12 year old kid having a hard time getting a computer from their parents, who are they supposed to pay $200 for just a software? The new law in France will just discourage young people from learning. My 2 cents would be piracy is wrong but not 100% wrong :) It forces companys to rethink their pricing strategy, therefore benefitting both the companys and the consumers.

The days where 15 year old teenagers being master of Adobe Photoshop and multimedia tools are over. Creativity is now limited to old people who make over 6 figures a year.
