There is nothing really new or special about this program. There are a number of other programs that do everything, minus the searches, far better then this program...plus most of them look or have the ability to look alot better then this. I also question the need for the desktop search program such as this, but that may be due to the fact that I have a good idea where everything is on my computer including system files, and I am orgranized so my files are where they should be.
Plus the number of different security issues that arise from a program such as this just baffle the mind. Everything from cross-computer searches, multi-user computers, plug-ins, all bug me when they wave off security concerts so easily.

Apple is to Xerox what Intel is to I........wait whats your point again. It was wrong for AMD to take what Intel has done and make it better?

Other then "bigger not always better", googles index is how big, and has been active for how long? Also, just because the live search is the successor to MSN search, does not mean that the live search index includes the MSN search index at this point.

With not doing the projections themselves, they are allowing other groups to do it for them which cause alot of problems. Not only are third-party projects inaccurate, they are often higher and when google doesn't meet those projections, they take a hit in stock price. This actually happend not to long ago, google took a hit when they release their earnings and didn't make these projections, which cost their share holders cash.
If they do these projections themselves, they can prevent that problem, and if they really do tank, shareholders can react better and it would save google a number of legal and financial problems afterwards..

Worked fine for me, loaded quickly, with everything showing up in firefox and IE7 just fine. Look pretty good too.

I wouldn't mind seeing this, along with a number of other tech conferences, but I would also like to have $1600 to spend to see someone advertise their stuff. Would also like to have seen a little more info in this artical about what all was going on at WWDC.
