Lady Sylvia, I've heard that WG will be in operation as of 28th November 2005, but transfer of groups will start in October

I am one of those artists, and have responded to many other comments before this.
Can there not be a site/group specifically for artists so our nude work and "family" work can be exhibited without fear of being grouped with perverts? Art galleries do it in every town in the world, so what is different with the internet? kiddies go to art galleries, don't they?
My site contains poetry, too; but partly due to MSN's lack of consideration, I have moved my group to Yahoo and to view it you have to be invited, so no kiddies ever see it. A logical solution?
Finally, be thankful MSN does not control the press, there are naked and half-naked women in many of the world's papers, too.

With you all the way. but I also run a members only site, not porno but it does contain some pictures that prudes may find unpalatable. I am an artist who had turned to digital photo-manipulation and fear being lumped in with the perverts of the world. An unfair act. Next they will be charging us for the priviledge

Us Brits have the same problem!
If kiddies get on porn sites it just shows the parents how bad they are at their job, not to have taught them basic morals, or to have no control over the actions of their offspring; and they (the parents) should be punished if their children are caught successfully accessing "adult" sites.

Comment on MSN's November plans:
why must the majority be punished for the sins of a minority? MSN say, they want sites to be acceptible to all, so what about the naturists? What about innocents who use the net for communication and chat to lovers and friends about the more personal side of human nature?
I manipulate photographs in tasteful and sometimes humorous ways to entertain my acquaintances, and this often includes nude people (men & women)but never anything that can be called obscene (sexual acts).
Sadly, it seems, we are now being told what we are allowed to say to our friends (or this is how it sounds).
How can MSN be unbiased towards its users when it restricts what they are allowed to do or say. I accept the bad language point, I don't like to hear swearing either; but as for moving all "adult content" (nudists and artists) to a site that, I suspect, will be infiltrated by perverts is an insulting and Hitlerish act.
It would be better, though a little more expensive (but MSN can afford it) to have monitors checking sites at random and removing the obscene, or punishing miscreants without removing the majority's freedom of choice.
