Agreed; Kaspersky Anti-Virus is the best of the best.

  2. Review - TrueCrypt

Best program available for encrypting your hard drives. The leaning curve is very easy, and overall I think it's a great program, and it's free!

  3. Review - µTorrent for Windows

    1.8 Build 8205 Alpha (Feb 20, 2008)

Best BitTorrent client available. There are a few bugs, since this is an alpha, but things seem to be shaping up nicely.

As for those who complain that there is a back door in the program (this is false!), the only thing the program does is check for updates - if you have that option enabled. I've logged and gone through all my uTorrent firewall packets for over a week. This is a safe program and is does a very good job.

  4. Review - WinRAR (32-bit)

    3.71 Final (Feb 20, 2008)

I agree, this is a top notch piece of software. I recently tried using 7-zip instead of WinRAR and the interface just doesn't compare to WinRAR's. This is a great program.

  5. Review - mIRC

    6.31 (Feb 20, 2008)

Still the best IRC client on the market - compared to XChat, etc. It does have a few bugs when running in Windows Vista that need to be fixed, which is why I'm not giving it a 5.
