  1. Review - DVD43

    3.7.0 (Dec 8, 2005)

Not bad but could be a tiny bit better. I'd give it a four instead of five because of copy problems in some movies but they are minor.

As for those who think the MPAA is fair, guess again. I make copies of my DVD so that I can store my original copy and protect it.

I don't give a ratz butt about rules and regulations regarding copying your own disc. I've been dubbing video tapes for 20 years with no problems and will continue to copy DVD's for my own use.

  2. Review - Microsoft Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter

    v1 (March 2005) (Mar 8, 2005)

It's not bad. This is why I upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003. Don't get me wrong, Norton Anti-Spam was good but the version I had crashed with Outlook.

  3. Review - nLite

    0.99.8 Beta 4 (Mar 8, 2005)

Not bad at all. Finally can strip away all that garbage from both my WinXP and Win2000 station. Only suggestion I would make is to have it for Win2000 users to integrate new versions of IE and Media player. I'd give it five stars if it can do that.

  4. Comment - 10 Years On: Windows 95 Remembered

    0.99.8 Beta 4 (Aug 24, 2005 - 1:28 PM)

I still remember installing it on a 486 and it ran like a dream. Didn't really get into Win9X technology until Win98 when I fully bought it with an AMD K6-3D 300MHZ Processor. Not to bad. I kept Win95 for the longest time and I thought at that time it was a superior OS. Never had speed issues or bugs. It's sad that Microsoft really hasn't gotten better in this except for WinXP.

  5. Comment - ChoicePoint to Sell Less Consumer Data

    0.99.8 Beta 4 (Mar 7, 2005 - 1:43 PM)

Choicepoint is nothing more than a data collection warehouse. Once it's hacked, no matter what protection schemes are in place, data will always be retrieved and used.

Choicepoint has to pay through the nose for its mistake.

I have no faith in any database which has sensitive information. I even have even less faith when that information is sent to India or to another third world country.

  6. Comment - Gates: IE7 to Debut Before Longhorn

    0.99.8 Beta 4 (Feb 15, 2005 - 1:22 PM)

Sure IE 7 will be for XP only, nothing for those who run Windows2000. Talk about gypped. Thank goodness I'm on firefox now.

  8. Comment - U.S. Schools Falling Behind in Tech Use

    0.99.8 Beta 4 (Jan 7, 2005 - 1:37 PM)

I wonder if companies will use this as an excuse to continue to export jobs because "Americans" are dumb. That is export our high paying jobs.
